Modern Slavery Statement

Last Updated: August 2026 Our unwavering institutional commitment to eradicating modern slavery and human trafficking across global supply chains.

1. Organizational Structure and Commitment

Sustainable Impact Capital Limited is a London-based institutional investment firm specializing in ESG-aligned private equity and structured finance. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labor, and human trafficking. We are fundamentally committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. We strictly enforce systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains, in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

2. Our Business Operations and Direct Supply Chains

As a financial services firm, our direct operations are office-based, and we consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct workforce to be negligible. Our direct supply chains are relatively short and predominantly consist of professional service providers (legal, accounting, IT), office facilities management, and technology vendors based in jurisdictions with robust labor laws. While we assess our direct risk as low, we remain vigilant and expect all our contractors, suppliers, and other business partners to uphold the same high standards.

3. Investment Portfolio and Due Diligence

The most significant area where we can effect change is through our investment portfolio. Modern slavery risk assessment is a mandatory and integral component of our ESG due diligence framework. Before committing capital to any opportunity, we conduct comprehensive reviews of the target company's labor practices, supply chain transparency, and geographic risk exposure. We actively seek out investments that demonstrate strong governance and social responsibility. We will not invest in any business where we identify unresolved, systemic risks of modern slavery.

4. Post-Investment Monitoring and Stewardship

Our commitment extends beyond the initial investment phase. We actively monitor our portfolio companies to ensure ongoing compliance with human rights standards. We require our portfolio companies to implement robust policies and procedures to prevent modern slavery within their own operations and extended supply chains. Where areas for improvement are identified, we use our influence as investors to drive positive change, requiring management teams to implement corrective action plans and enhance their supplier auditing processes.

5. Supplier Adherence to Our Values

We have zero tolerance for slavery and human trafficking. To ensure all those in our supply chain and contractors comply with our values, we have in place a supply chain compliance program. This consists of requiring major suppliers to confirm their compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (or equivalent legislation in their jurisdiction) and to provide copies of their own modern slavery statements where applicable. We reserve the right to terminate relationships with suppliers who fail to meet our standards.

6. Training and Continuous Improvement

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide comprehensive training to our staff, particularly those involved in procurement and investment due diligence. We continuously review and refine our policies, procedures, and risk assessment methodologies to ensure they remain effective in identifying and mitigating modern slavery risks in an evolving global landscape.
